Buildingwise Certifiers recently issued a Complying Development Certificate (CDC) for a commercial fit out at Cardiff, NSW. The project was delivered by Zephyr Projects, and Daniel and the team were easy to work with from start to finish.
A Complying Development Certificate is one of the faster planning and building approval pathways available under NSW legislation. Rather than going through a full council Development Application, eligible projects are assessed against a predetermined set of standards. Where a project meets those standards, a CDC can be issued by a private certifier, covering both the planning and building approval in a single process.
For commercial fit outs that meet the relevant criteria, the CDC pathway is worth understanding early in your planning. Getting the right advice before committing to a lease or a design can save significant time and cost down the line.

A well-prepared application and responsive communication from the Zephyr Projects team made this a smooth project. That matters more than people realise. Certification moves at the pace the applicant allows, and having documentation ready when it is needed keeps things on track.
